Indonesia, Savu, probably mid 20th c.174 x 89 cm
Cotton, multicolored warp. Sewn together lengthwise from two panels of unequal width. Twisted warp fringes. In the stripes on dark brown background so-called Boda motifs. Here the red color is overdyed with blue. The intermediate stripes are black. The textile has a soft grip and the surface is slightly rubbed by prolonged use. However, the colors are still quite fresh.
